Linda A. Seiler, Ph.D.

For decades, Linda felt like a man trapped in a female body and was exclusively attracted to women. Today, she is content in a female body and wholly attracted to men. Dr. Seiler offers a unique, compassionate perspective as one who has struggled with her own gender identity and sexuality.

Linda serves as the Executive Director of ReStory Ministries and as a National Chi Alpha Field Specialist in Applied Theology and Culture. She is an ordained AG minister and holds a PhD from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (2020), with her dissertation investigating 30 case studies of men and women who were once same-sex attracted and have experienced transformation. Linda’s book Trans-Formation: A Former Transgender Responds to LGBTQ draws from her academic research and her own eleven-year journey out of transgender desires and same-sex attractions, written to equip Christian leaders, concerned parents, or conflicted adults with a theological, scientific, and restorative response to LGBTQ.

Joe Dallas

Joe Dallas is an author, conference speaker, and Biblical counselor. He’s the Founder of Cloudfire Ministries in Tustin, California, and he hosts a weekly podcast (Christians in a Cancel Culture) and a monthly online meeting for pastors (The Challenge). He has authored nine books and is a contributing writer for The Christian Research Journal and the online magazine The Stream, and he’s had extensive secular and Christian media experience.

Joe is the father of two sons, and he and his wife Renee are long standing members of Mesa Church (AG) in Irvine. They reside in Orange County, California.

Paul W. Hruz, M.D. Ph.D.

Dr. Hruz is an academic pediatric endocrinologist (hormone specialist) and tenured physician scientist with faculty appointments in both Pediatrics and Cellular Biology and Physiology. He received his MD and PhD degrees from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed residency training in Pediatrics at the University of Washington in Seattle and fellowship training in pediatric endocrinology at Washington University in St Louis.

Dr. Hruz has over 25 years of clinical experience in caring for children with disorders of sexual development. He has received certification in Healthcare Ethics. He has authored over 65 peer-reviewed manuscripts, scientific reviews, and book chapters. Most importantly, together with his wife Anne, he has raised his five children in St Louis.

A Bible teacher and frequent guest speaker along with her husband at churches, conferences, and seminars, Renee is passionate about spiritual formation and the local church and has a certification in Biblical Counseling through the Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation in Pennsylvania.

Renee is a member and serves on the board of elders at Mesa Church (AG) in Irvine, CA, and she also produces and hosts the Setting the Table podcast for the Mesa Women’s Ministry. She is passionate about spiritual formation and the local church, and is always on the lookout for awesome conversations!

Anne Edward: Restored Hope Network

Anne is an author, speaker, spokesperson, and advocate for men and women struggling with unwanted same-sex attraction. Her mission is to restore hope to those broken by sexual and relational sin.

Matthew King

From a young age, Matthew King dealt with same-sex attractions and struggled with the inner fight of sexual identity. Being a church kid, he knew the truth, but changing how he felt was not as easy. He offers insight on dealing with same-sex attraction while serving the Lord, as well as living life secure in his identity as Beloved.

Matthew King is an AG minister, as well as a substitute teacher. He ministers to approximately 300+ children/teens weekly through his church and through afterschool programs. Matthew has pastored in various ministries for over 15 years including Kids, Youth, Worship, Outreach, and Childcare. He currently serves as the Associate Pastor at The Oasis in Princeton, IN, alongside his wife of 15 years, Kasie. Together, they have 4 children: Jesika (22), Noah (8), Isabella (8), and Ava (4).

Brett & Holly Martin

Brett Martin’s life was dramatically changed by the power of God’s love on a university campus. For 29 years, Brett has served as a Chi Alpha missionary. In 2016, his vision expanded to reaching multiple campuses, specifically in the area of walking alongside students and leaders struggling with relational and sexual brokenness. He loves witnessing students walk into their God given identity and destiny.

Brett and Holly currently serve as Chi Alpha affiliate missionaries at NAU and Embry Riddle. They also serve on staff with Restoring Wholeness Ministries based in Tucson. Brett is an ordained minister through the Assemblies of God. Brett and Holly live in a small town in northern Arizona, attend Journey Church (AG) in Cottonwood, and enjoy gardening and restoring their 100-year-old home.

Keith and René are the founders and directors of Hearts of Hope in Yuba City, CA. The mission of Hearts of Hope is to inform and equip the Church with a compassionate biblical response to LGBTQ issues; provide support for families with LGBTQ loved ones; and connect strugglers with mentors and resources. René serves as Chair on the ReStory Board of Directors, is a credentialed AG minister, and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Restored Hope Network.

Keith and René have been members of Calvary Christian Center (AG) in Yuba City, CA, for the past 36 years.

Melinda Patrick

As Director of Parent Support for His Wonderful Works since 2013, author of The Daring Rescue, and host of the award-winning podcast The Bridge Between Us, Melinda Patrick has been able to minister to many families with children and loved ones who have embraced an LGBTQ identity. Having a daughter involved in the LGBTQ community for over 11 years, Melinda knows what it is like to grieve the choices our loved ones have made and understands the helplessness when things aren’t as we had hoped. She is passionate about emboldening and equipping parents to co-labor with God where He is at work.

Andrew Rodriguez, LPC

Andrew Rodriguez is the director of Integrity Christian Counseling in Pottstown, PA, and a campus counselor at the University of Valley Forge (an Assemblies of God institution), his alma mater. He is certified in Reintegrative Therapy, a treatment for trauma and addictions found helpful in sexual attraction change. Andrew enjoys educating the public on psychology, theology, and sexuality using his YouTube channel, PsychoBible.

He is an affiliate with Restored Hope Network, Transformation Ministries Alliance, and a coordinator for Living Waters. He is on the boards of The Alliance for Therapeutic Choice and Scientific Integrity and Voice of the Voiceless (which advocates for the rights of ex-LGBT). Andrew has been passionately married to his wife, Jessica, since 2007.

Rev. Brenna Kate Simonds

Rev. Brenna Kate Simonds has been learning to walk in freedom from same-sex attraction, disordered eating, and self-injury since January of 1999. She is the director of Alive in Christ, a ministry offering hope to those impacted by same-sex attraction and gender dysphoria.

Brenna has had the opportunity to be in The Boston Globe, award-winning documentaries Such Were Some of You and Just As I Am and the TV show Pure Passion. She is the author of the book Learning to Walk in Freedom.

Brenna is a career AG missionary, is ordained, and attends Brockton Assembly of God. Brenna’s favorite pastimes are singing, gluten-free cooking, and enjoying the company of her husband and their three children at their home in Brockton, MA.

Rev. Wynn Cameron Thompson

Rev. Wynn Cameron Thompson, since 1996, has been the executive director and founder of Restoring Wholeness Ministries. His story takes him from a solid Christian home upbringing in Los Angeles, California, to being raped at the age of six. The streets of Hollywood became his way of life as a teenager. Sex, drugs, and the entertainment industry became his god as he looked for his identity and satisfaction in life. Dysfunction in many forms continued until he turned to God in 1985.

After years of healing, he became a missionary in Europe with Youth With A Mission. During the years that followed, he gained training in theology and therapy as he studied with international schools. He is an ordained minister, international teacher, speaker, life therapist/counselor, and author of Prodigal: A Journey to Freedom from Abuse and Addiction.

Emily Oakley

Rev. Emily Oakley is an ordained, full-gospel evangelist who also serves as a pastoral counselor and author from Wichita, Kansas. Her heart is for all people to find healing and wholeness in Jesus. She is particularly passionate about biblical identity and how to help people discover who they are in Christ. God delivered her from her own experience of same-sex attraction and removed the toxic root of codependency. She uses this testimony and what she has learned in her own ministry, Rebirth Ministries. Her hope is for all to find the transformative freedom that only Christ provides. She attends River Church (AG) in Haysville, KS.

Annalise Shadburne

Annalise has experienced freedom from spiritual confusion and gender dysphoria since surrendering her life to Jesus. After seeking her own way out of brokeness, identifying as a man, and exploring New Age beliefs, she thought she was finally happy with her life but couldn’t shake the sense that something was very wrong. God had a different plan, and now she seeks to share the story of His grace and redemptive power in her life. Annalise and her husband live in western Washington and enjoy serving in their church, Gateway Fellowship (AG) in Poulsbo.
